University of Westminster, Architecture Crits

Attending the young emerging architects presentation of studio work in the University of Westminster was a good reminder of important things. A reminder of how young people have the best ideas. How they are sensitive but also strong striving to express them and give shape to them. How their teachers carefully balance praise, caution, criticism and encouragement to let them break through. A reminder of how important and formative are the years of teaching and learning. I saw some amazing work, some less so but full of strong ideas and prospect. In the following years who knows how things will turn over. Overall it felt an honour to be invited there.
